For just $2/person, you can climb the 167 steps to the top of the only publicly accessible lighthouse in South Carolina (although due to COVID-19, the lighthouse may not be operational during your stay). The Beaufort Water Festival has officially announced it will take place July 16-25, 2021!
Similar to New York City’s High Line, the Spanish Moss Trail is an outdoor rail trail connecting several parts of our beautiful city. Currently, the Spanish Moss Trail is nearly 10 miles long with plans to expand to 14. Walkers, runners, cyclycts, and roller bladers alike traverse the trail and take in gorgeous views of Beaufort. Guests of The Beaufort Inn have access to complimentary bicycles upon request.
