Celebrate Independence Day in the Best Small Town in the South!
In addition to being a great vacation destination, Beaufort is home to the Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island, the Marine Corps Air Station, and a Naval Hospital. We frequently hear the “Sounds of Freedom” overhead and are constantly reminded of and grateful for those who have and continue to serve in the armed forces.
Each year on the 4th of July, locals and visitors alike gather at Hunting Island or on the water for a Salute from the Shore and enjoy fireworks from the Sands Beach!
