Health & Safety Protocol

The safety of our guests and staff remains our utmost priority. We have developed comprehensive cleaning and physical distancing protocols. Although The Beaufort Inn has always implemented rigorous cleaning and safety standards, we are now enhancing our standards while following all CDC and WHO guidelines. We encourage you to review the US Centers for Disease Control’s website for the latest information about hotel requirements.

Face Covering Encouraged

“Face Covering” is defined as a cloth or other type of masking device that covers the wearer’s nose and mouth.

Face Coverings are encouraged to be worn:

  • While in areas where general public is allowed, all restaurants, retail establishments, salons, grocery stores and pharmacies. Also applies to tours, buses and interaction in outdoor spaces.
  • When in close proximity to others.

Detailed Cleaning

Ecolab Hospital-Grade Disinfectants

Surfaces will be thoroughly treated with hospital-grade disinfectants and cleanings will be conducted with increased frequency. The frequency of cleaning and sanitizing will be increased in all public spaces with an emphasis on frequent-contact surfaces.

Adjusting our Normal Routine

Guests & Service Professionals Health

We have placed signage in lobby and public areas reminding guests to maintain physical distancing protocols at least six feet. Our front desk staff will be wearing masks and have been instructed to wash their hands for 20 seconds frequently. Our housekeeping staff will wear masks and gloves at all times while inside rooms cleaning. Please note our in-room stay-over service is not provided at this time. We have hand sanitizer in the lobby available. We sanitize high-touch-areas every 30 minutes or as needed.
